Troutman Library Construction Update 07-14-09
Well, the roof is on, the windows are in, and bricking has started! Check it out! Come back soon for pictures of how the inside is coming along. I also wanted to say “many thanks” to Town and Country Storage for five years of free storage for our donated books and yard sale items! Due to the current state of the economy they have decided that they can no longer provide this service to us, but we greatly appreciate all that they have given already. However, when one door closes, often a window opens. And so it has…Ole World Market has provided an excellent window of opportunity for us. So, if you get a chance, stop by the Ole World Market, behind the depot in Troutman, and check out our selection of used books for sale! The owners of Ole World Market have graciously allowed us a place to display some books for sale and a new place for us to store the many books we have!
