Troutman’s newest restaurant
Troutman’s newest restaurant is finally open for business! Pellegrino’s Trattoria 
is a family owned restaurant, featuring a wide selection of Italian food, from pizza to chicken, veal or seafood dishes, and of course the pasta! I went with my family last Thursday and although the restaurant was full, we were seated right away and served in a timely and gracious manner. Everything on the menu sounded so yummy, I had a hard time deciding. I ordered the calamari for an appetizer (which my 5 year old son took over as his own dish)–what I managed to sneak away from him was delicious! I had the Pollo Di Massimo for my entree, which was fabulous–crispy breaded chicken breast topped with prosciutto, fresh mozarella and diced tomatoes, baked and finished off with their house-made tomato sauce. Unfortunately, I had no room for dessert, but I look forward to returning to try more dishes anyway, so maybe one of those times I’ll have a chance to try the canoli or the tiramisu! Pellegrinos is located on Main Street in Troutman, in the same shopping center with Movie Gallery, Dominos, Oishii, and the new petstore, Poodleduck’s (more on that later).

Each month I take the top agents to a managers lunch with owner Bob Hecht. The agents have decided they want to go to Pellegrino’s Trattoria this month. I’m looking forward to trying a new restaurant.

I’ve eaten there a few times already and the food is Great!It’s fine Italian dining as well as a pizzeria. Also you should try the Tiramisu for dessert it’s delicious!
